Toganji temple
It contains a huge wood block to purge past sins if touched with one hand. The charming Toganji temple, although small, also contain a Chinese-style gate, an ancient pine tree and a thick, bamboo grove. It is a temple that boasts a magnificent Buddha statue which rises up to 15 meters.
Nagoya castle
It was completed in 1615 by the Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu. Covered in golden shachihoko, votive tiger-fish roof devices, and boasting the largest floorspace of any tower keep, Nagoya Castle and its magnificent Hommaru Palace were operated as a military facility. Nagoya Castle was the first castle in Japan to be designated a National Treasure.
