Senso-ji temple

It is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa. It is Tokyo's oldest temple, and one of its most significant. It once belonged to the Tendai sect but, after the Second World War,  it became independent.

Ueno zoo

Ueno Zoo is the oldest zoo in Japan (1882), and one of the most beloved. It includes many unusual animals, such as Hokkaido brown beans, Japanese macaques, and wild cormorants.
